repertoire of the concert band including works by Holst, Vaughn-Williams,
Grainger, Milhaud and others. Randol Bass brings us this exceptional folksong
suite based on five very well-known American folksongs. Commissioned by the
Austin Symphonic Band and its music director, Richard Floyd.
